This guide will help you perfect Diana's Ulti combo by learning how you can cast R before Q. (Rather than the common Q - R- R combo).

This is beneficial due to the fact that your Q is a skillshot and therefore can easily be dodged by moving targets, whereas your Ulti is a targeted ability and cannot be dodged.

Situations where this would help include duelling 1v1 where you can R-Q, (wait for Q CD) R-Q-R for the fastest possible burst. When chasing a moving target who is anticipating your Q. Or when trying to catch someone who is out of range with the use of a minion (See Video).

The technique to this is simple but will require some practice. Ultimate your target and whilst mid-air quickly flick your mouse forward form it's original location and press Q.

You are ulting first, then flicking your mouse and INSTA casting Q. You will notice your ultimate actually does go on CD before resetting if you perform this correctly.
